Arma 3 へ STOVL 機を追加する AV-8B Harrier 2 Series MOD

Arma 3 へアメリカ海兵隊などで運用されている短距離離着陸機を追加する AV-8B Harrier 2 Series MOD が公開されました。MOD では垂直離着陸機能の再現、さまざまな武装の運用、精密誘導攻撃が可能です。

MOD ではエディタの Empty から設置できる FIR オブジェクト カテゴリ内のオブジェクトの近くで止まり、ダイアログを開くことで機体の兵装、スキン、記章を変更できます。また給油や修理、武装プリセットの選択が可能です。

それに機体へ統合されている ECM ジャマーに加えて、Tiger II ポッドでも敵のレーダー誘導ミサイルを妨害できます。アクション メニューに表示される“ECM JAMMER ON”を実行すると、60 秒間だけ動作した後 40 秒間の冷却時間に入ります。なお ECM は赤外線誘導ミサイルを妨害できません。

GPS やレーザーによる精密誘導爆撃 (T-TGT)、それに機体にいろいろなスキン、デカール、ラウンデルの適用 (ADES) が可能です。詳細は AWS フィールド マニュアルで解説されています。

基本形の B 型 Plus 仕様に加えて、Night Attack 仕様も。N/A は機首の先端部に FLIR を埋め込み、夜間での飛行を可能にした仕様ですが、レーダーが搭載されていないため Harrier II Plus のように AIM-120 AMRAAM を運用できません。
