Arma 3 の世界観はそのままに、オーバーホールや拡張、改良をおこなう Arma 3 Aegis MOD のバージョン 18-07-2017 が公開。新たに SA80 5.56mm 小銃と Mk16 HAMR 軽支援火器、開発中ながらも ACOG 照準器を追加したり、多数の調整がおこなわれました。
新しいさまざま武器や車両、装備、勢力と VTOL 戦闘機、輸送機など新しいコンテンツを追加していきます。また既存のコンテンツに調整をくわえ、弾倉の装填量なども実物と同じにするなどしています。
