Arma 3 で現実的な医療機能を実装していた XmedSys MOD を元に新たに作製された X39s Medical System 2 MOD (XMS2) がバージョン 4.2 アルファへ更新され、多くの変更や修正が行われました。
前作に比べて新たな概念が実装されていながらも、最も道理にかなった特徴を備えており高度な設定と改変が可能な関数で簡便にアイテムや機能の仕様設定が可能ということです。
