Arma 3 の世界観はそのままに、オーバーホールや拡張、改良をおこなう Arma 3 Aegis MOD のバージョン 17-09-2017 が公開。新しいプロップや家具、環境音、色彩を変更できる GUI カラーセットなどが新しく追加されました。
新しいさまざま武器や車両、装備、勢力と VTOL 戦闘機、輸送機など新しいコンテンツを追加していきます。また既存のコンテンツに調整をくわえ、弾倉の装填量なども実物と同じにするなどしています。
